Question : exercice grammar
Correction de devoir
bonjour voici ma question:
Grammar
A. Ever / never / whoever / whatever / whenever (complete with the correct word) entre parenthése:
Interviewer: Have you (never) doubled James Bond?
Stuntman: No, (ever)They asked me several times but (whoever) they called, I was already doubling for Sylvester Stallone.
Interviewer: So how do you decide which contracts to accept?
Stuntman: I answer positively to (whenever) calls first. A man’s got to feed his family, you know!
Interviewer: Do you accept a contract (whatever) they ask you to do?
Stuntman: Sure, nothing’s too dangerous for Cyril Raffaelli
merci
Réponse
Interviewer : Have you G[ever]G doubled James Bond? (G[never]G est réservé à une phrase affirmative tandis qu'ever s'utilise dans une phrase interrogative)
Stuntman : No, never. They asked me several times but G[whenever]G they called, I was already doubling for Sylvester Stallone (never : voir l'explication ci dessus).( G[G[whoever]G]G : who indique une personne. ici, c'est une notion de temps, donc whenever... quelque soit le moment, à chaque fois)
Interviewer : So how do you decide whch contracts to accept?
Stuntman : I anwer positively to whoever calls first. A man's gotto feed his family, you know!
Interviewer : Do you accept a contract whatever they ask you to do? (when: temps. who: une personne. ici, peu importe qui appelle).
Stuntman: Sur, nothing's too dangerous for CR.
